Branch One · Health & Wellness

Functional health, building biology, and the body you actually live in.

The practice

For individuals, organizations, and mission populations.

ROOTS Collective delivers functional, lab-informed wellness programs alongside building biology and environmental health expertise — for individuals investing in their own care, for organizations investing in their teams, and for mission populations whose access to this caliber of work is often structurally limited.

Every engagement integrates the body and the building. The protocol that addresses your gut health, hormones, sleep, and nervous system is paired with informed insight into the air you breathe, the water you drink, the materials in your home or workplace, and the environmental load your body is asked to carry. The two together create transformation that neither delivers alone.

Rooted in nature. Aligned by science. Elevated by design.

Three tiers, three levels of access.

A reflection

“Bry helped me rebuild my nervous system from the ground up. The protocols were precise, the compassion was real, and for the first time in a decade I feel like my body is on my side.”

A Dedicated Mission

For the first responders, the military, the ones who run toward.

ROOTS was founded on a personal mission to support firefighters, police, EMS, dispatchers, and military personnel — before, during and after service. Built from lived understanding, not assumption.

Mission Programs

For populations whose access to this work is structurally limited.

Mission Programs are delivered through partnerships with foundations, hotel partner retreats, sponsored cohorts, and grant-funded engagements. They are not a discount tier of Private Practice — they are a structurally different program with group-format delivery, partner-funding pathways, and population-specific curriculum.

ROOTS does not underwrite Mission engagements. Every Mission cohort is funded by participants, foundation partners, sponsors, or grant sources at pricing that sustains the work.

Eligibility · Active-duty and veteran first responders and military service members; mold and environmental illness survivors facing financial constraints; foundation-referred participants from partner organizations (Mighty Oaks, Boulder Crest, FFBHA, and others). Adults only.

Mission Cohort · 90-Day Program

A 90-day functional health program delivered in group cohort format, virtually or at a partner location. Population-specific curriculum (trauma-informed nervous system regulation, sleep recovery, environmental health, nutrition, supplementation, integration). Individualized lab work and protocol design within a group-supported structure. Cohort 10–20.

Direct-pay participants may choose a three-month payment plan: $1,200 deposit and two monthly payments of $1,150.

Engagements in practice

What the work actually looks like.

Below are two composite engagements — one private, one organizational — drawn from real client arcs. They are typical, not exceptional.

The following are illustrative composites drawn from real engagements. Identifying details have been changed to honor client confidentiality.

Private Practice · White Glove

The executive who hadn't slept through the night in two years.

Context · Forty-seven. Founder-operator of a venture-backed company. Persistent insomnia, midday energy collapse, two failed rounds of conventional workup, declining HRV trend over eighteen months. Resistant to anything that looked like another wellness program.

Engagement · White Glove 90-day program. Twelve-marker functional panel including HTMA, GI-MAP, DUTCH, and mycotoxin. Protocol built around mitochondrial repair, circadian re-entrainment, and nervous system regulation. Monthly 1:1s, portal chat within 24 hours, one environmental phone consultation that surfaced a primary bedroom EMF exposure missed by prior providers.

Outcome · By day 60, sleep architecture restored with 6.5+ hours of uninterrupted sleep most nights. HRV trend reversed. Cortisol pattern within reference range at day 90 re-test. Client continued on Quarterly Continuation for the following year.

Total engagement to date: 15 months. Initial 90-day program followed by four quarters of continuation care.

Corporate · Wellness Integration

A mid-stage SaaS company losing senior leaders to burnout.

Context · ~640-person engineering organization. Two VP-level departures in twelve months explicitly cited burnout. Existing wellness benefit was a meditation app subscription. Board pressure to demonstrate a credible response before the next funding cycle.

Engagement · Began with the $5,000 Listening Engagement. Recommendation moved into a multi-cohort Corporate Wellness Integration: executive cohort first, two operational team cohorts over the following year, headquarters environmental walkthrough, and quarterly aggregated biomarker reporting to the executive team and board wellness sub-committee.

Outcome · Year-one outcomes (de-identified, aggregated): measurable improvement in inflammatory and stress biomarkers across the executive cohort, voluntary attrition in the participating teams roughly half the company-wide rate, and a wellness narrative the company could carry into recruiting and the next funding round.

Engagement structured as a rolling 12-month integration with annual renewal. Currently in year two.

What is included

In every ROOTS Collective fee.

ROOTS Collective fees represent professional services only — strategic counsel, program design, protocol development, training, wellness oversight, and the founder’s direct involvement in the engagement.

Functional health labs are billed separately by the lab companies directly to the client at standard direct-pay rates. Supplements are ordered through ROOTS’ Fullscript practitioner dispensary with the discount applied automatically.

Recommended third-party products, services, vendors, installations, technical specialists, remediation contractors, and equipment are billed separately and paid directly by the client to the vendor. When ROOTS handles vendor coordination, sourcing, or project management on the client’s behalf, those services are reimbursed at cost plus a 15% coordination fee.

A note on scope of practice

ROOTS Collective is a wellness practice. We do not diagnose or treat disease. The founder is not a medical doctor.

For environmental health and building biology work, ROOTS applies building biology principles through informed walkthrough and structured inquiry to identify areas of potential concern that warrant further investigation by appropriately credentialed specialists. ROOTS does not perform technical testing, sampling, measurement, or certified inspection. Recommendations include suggested specialists, vendors, and remediation contractors for the technical work, engaged separately by the client.

ROOTS Collective serves adults only across all engagements. Children, adolescents, and family programs are referred to trusted partners.
